…the scoop on Mark
As an independent and family-owned digital illustration business since 2011, Mark puts passion and dedication into every design and illustration. He loves bringing smiles for miles with his fun and zany caricature originals and your BIG ideas to life one sketch at a time by walking through your imagination to get the project just right!
Mark lives in sunny Yakima, Washington with his wife Stephanie and son Christopher and this is where the inception of the dream began to take shape. If 'one raindrop raises the sea,' wouldn't it be truly amazing to make the world an even better place by creating the change we want to see in it the imagery we create; essentially 'one sketch at a time' - each sketch raising the sea.
Mark loves serving the world best by embracing the qualities that make him who he is. Helping other people bring their imagination to life by either empowering them to do so or through his own hand. It just feels amazing to express each new vision in a way that words simply cannot.
Growing up predominantly in Washington state Mark found solace and joy in expressing his own thoughts about the world around him on restaurant napkins, scraps of printer paper, or any other material that he could use a ballpoint pen on! He discovered for himself how freeing it was to share with his friends and family with an image the complicated concepts he needed to express, and seeing the looks on their faces when they understood demonstrated Mark was working with a powerful skill....
...And so it happens to be that Mark's mission has become one of 'bringing smiles for miles through the activity of putting your ideas to life one sketch at a time as well as imparting those same skills to those who want to improve. Mark has a vision and a purpose to share his skills and passion for sketchbooking with you.
Developing skills in drawing lead to healthier levels of cognition, hand-eye coordination, and can even improve an individual's wealth should they find their own passion aligns through an artistic outlet.
